KA Assoc. of School Boards to Hold Statewide Meetings to Talk about Educational Vision, School Finance

The Kansas Association of School Boards is holding meetings across the state to bring together education leaders, policy makers and experts to share ideas on school finance and other educational issues.

“Two big things we’re focusing on,” said Mark Tallman with KASB. “The State Board of Education’s new Kansans CAN vision, their goal of how we improve student success in Kansas and what that means for developing a new school finance system.”

The meetings begin Tuesday in Sublette, and include stops in Oakley, Salina, Blue Valley, Girard and Hutchinson between now and October 6th.
